Rule Of Thirds
The rule of thirds is a method of taking photographs by dividing the image into 9 equal segments using two vertical and two horizontal lines. The main subject within the image is aligned at two points were the lines meet. This in turn shifts the main subject from the center of the image, allowing linear features within the image to flow from one section to another. One of the main reasons that the Rule of Thirds is used is to remove the chance of 'splitting' the image in half. Within my photography i will aim to use the Rule of Thirds where possible.
